“A room without books is like a body without a soul.” -Ciero
The week of March 2-6 AISE hosted a book fair organized by the Parents and Teachers Association! Held in the auditorium, AISE welcomed multiple book shops including, Edu Gate, Books & Books, Diwan, Scholastic, DK, and Egyptian American Book Center. The book fair lasted from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and displayed all different types of books, ranging from fiction fairytales, mysteries, non-fiction biographies, and even Arabic novels! There were books targeting children, teenagers and adults. Students and their families visited the fair and were most definitely pleased! Once again the AISE book fair has made an impression! It was just the event needed to remind everyone how important reading truly is. The book fair provided an educational and exciting environment, which encouraged AISE students to grab a book! This annual event has been dramatically improving every year as more students visit and more books are provided. Hopefully, the book fair will encourage students to continue reading as many books as possible, that one day they will realize that there are just too many books and so little time.
