It’s March Madness Panthers, and you all know what that means! No, it isn’t the main breeding season for hare in Europe, or the NCAA Basketball Competition. It’s that time of year where all High School students are exempted from their last period class every Thursday for the remainder of that month to attend school spirited events. Who doesn’t want an excuse to skip Pre Calculus, last period, nonetheless, on a Thursday? Getting the chance to become more social with your peers is something that will always allow school spirit to increase, and a school’s success is largely centralized around the pride which their students carry for the school. Events which students get to witness include; Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, and Academic Games. All students are allowed to sign up and participate in the event which they please. Whether it’s your friend about to score a goal, shoot a basket, the adrenaline rush near the end of a race, or contemplating the trivia at the Academic Games, each of the events has its individual excitement which can leave the audience at the edge of their seats. Who’s going to win this year? Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors? Guess we’ll have to wait and find out! Don’t miss out this opportunity to become more involved, Panthers! If you want to give it a try, sign up before it’s too late. After all, it is just a game, and in the end, it’s about the experience; getting to represent your grade, hearing them cheer you on, and possibly ending up triumphant. Happy March Madness!
