There are two different types of people in the world. There are people who are involved with the environment and actively engage with others to spread awareness, and there are those who are ignorant of the dangers posed by global warming. As human beings, it’s our duty to take a stand and protect our environment rather than seek to destroy it for the meager purposes of building a new shopping mall or parking lot. Nowadays, cars, planes, and trains are being used excessively by societies all over the world. This results in a dangerously high degree of pollution that poisons the air we breathe, and on a greater scale, the environment in its entirety. Excess pollution also bears implications upon people, and the wildlife that inhabit the planet alongside us.
So, what can we do to make amends? For starters, in celebration of Earth Day, try your best to conserve electricity by keeping the lights switched off. Try to find more environmentally friendly modes of transportation. Ride a bike to work, or take a healthy walk to your destination. The little things make a vast difference, and it is all up to you.
