3 Books I Find Interesting
-The Hunger Games Trilogy: The Hunger Games are one of the most interesting books I’ve read. It takes about how in the future, a country called Panem, with 12 Districts, controlled by the Capital. Every District has it’s own thing to do, for example; coal, agriculture, weapons, etc. Every year they also have a competition called The Hunger Games, where the capital picks two tributes from every district, to fight for their lives, and only one lives. It explains the troubles of Katniss and Peeta, the two tributes chosen in district 12, and how the win the Hunger Games.
–Looking for Alaska: Looking for Alaska is one of the most fascinating books I’ve read in my life. It explains how a boy called Miles Halter is tired of his predictable and friendless life so he decides to attend Culver Creek boarding school in Alabama for his junior year of high school. He tells his parents that he’s going to seek a Great Perhaps, that there’s something more for him.
-Bridge to Terabithia: I’ve read this book about five years ago, and it is still one of my top favorites. Jess Aarons lives in a small town called Lark Creek and has a hard family life. He likes to draw and to run, and is kind of lonely; he’s out-of-place in his family and the only person he really gets along with is his little sister May Belle. He’s about to enter the fifth grade and dreams of being the fastest runner there. This dream is shattered on the first day of school, though, when a new girl named Leslie shows up and runs faster than anyone. At first Jess is crushed, but later he and Leslie end up becoming good friends.
