PSY, a North Korean singer, has been famous for more than a decade, but in 2006, he took time off from music to both get married and complete two years of military service. In 2010, he re-entered the pop world releasing a video for “Right Now” fans, but it wasn’t until two years later that PSY rose to fame in the U.S. and became the most famous singer in the world of K-pop. PSY has stuck out with his weird personality in place of chicness successfully. This can be seen through his current success of “Gangnam Style.” Over the course of a more than a decade-long career, PSY along with the help of the College of Music have produced plenty of other songs. Namely, Bird in 2001, Champion in 2002, Right Now in 2010, It’s Art in 2012, and the recently released, Daddy.
