The pharaohs will face a winless Ghana side to try to clinch three points to further aid them in the process of reaching a world cup. The Egyptian national team last participated in a world cup in 1990 and all the Egyptians are dreaming of reaching another world cup, the Egyptians’ next target will be the 2018 world cup in Russia. This will not be an easy goal to achieve as the Egyptians found themselves in a challenging world cup qualifiers group that includes Uganda, Congo, and worst of all, Ghana. The reason every Egyptian is dreading this match to begin is because the last time Egypt faced Ghana in a World cup qualifier, Egypt was obliterated with a score of 6 to 0 in the first leg and couldn’t come back in the second leg. The Pharaohs will be more confident this time though as Ghana have drawn their first game in the group against Uganda whilst egypt clinched a win with a score of 2 goals to 1 against Congo. Ghana will definitely want to bounce back from that Result but Egypt will want to make a 5 point difference between each country. The Egyptians will need to watch out for the pace and power of Andre Ayew, the strength and overall dominance of Jordan Ayew, the speed of Mubarak Wakaso and Christian Atsu, and the dominating defence of the Ghanaians. Egypt does have some very decent players like Ibrahim Said with his amazing technical ability and passing skills, Bassem Morsy with his great physicality, finishing ability, and intensity, and of course, the pacey and technical Mohamed Salah. Will the Pharaohs be able to take the 3 points to help them reach their dream of qualifying for a world cup?
