Procrastination

Have you ever sat down to complete a important task and rapidly discovered you were up loading the dishwasher or found yourself watching the 13th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians? Or perhaps you realized that the dog needs to be fed, emails compulsion to be answered, your ceiling follower needs dusting or most likely you should loan and have lunch, even even though its only 11 a.m.? Procrastination is a big thing that many students experience throughout their school years. It can distract you from getting your work done and many other things. Now there are many ways to avoid procrastination. First is to do a list of things that you need to do. This will help you keep track of the stuff that you need to get done. It will even help to feel a growing sense of pride in yourself towards the stuff you have accomplished. The second method is to finish the hard stuff. This will give you time to actually work on the easy such as homework and other assignments and leave you some times for them. Always do the big projects before doing your homework. The third method is to remove any distraction. Take away any objects or actions that may interfere with your focus. Although it may seem like calling your mom or finishing up the next chapter in your book are things you must complete in the near future, they’re probably just distracting you. Put on some noise-cancelling headphones or stay in a quiet room, turn off your phone, and hide your (something that makes you want to do something/the feeling of wanting to do something ,for example; guitar, piano, or anything). These methods will for sure help you to stop procrastinating and help you to get better grades.
