“Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change the world” a wise man one said. There are many reasons why you are educating yourself. For some it maybe because their parents forced them and for some it might be to prepare for college although education is much more important than that. Education is not something you just learn in a classroom for nine months a year, it’s an ongoing routine in your everyday life. Without you noticing , you choose to learn something new every single day. The day you learned how to use a new electronic device? That’s education, The day you learned a closer road to work, or maybe one without as much traffic? That’s education. As you can see , education is not just the textbook that our teachers install in our brains, it’s everything as a whole. If you think about it at a cellular level , without your body educating itself how to function , you would die. Although many people call education as problems or a plague on their daily social lives , that’s only the annoyance of doing school work and their poor work ethic , not education as a whole. Another wise man categorized education into two categories by saying that “There are two types of education. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live”. So next time you think about education don’t think about the assignments your teachers give you, think about everything you were/are able to do because of any source of learning because at the end of the day what you learn could either make you the one who climbed to the top of the stairs or the one who couldn’t find the staircase.
